Tamu is a clean energy and functional food ingredient production company. We are dedicated to rethinking the value proposition of agricultural waste and zero waste processing. Our mission is to use sustainable raw materials in the production of a range of healthy finished products whilst creating far-reaching environmental and social impact. 

 

Tamu is transforming a readily available waste product – sugar cane fibre - into a range of plant based functional food ingredients and alternate energy sources. 

 

Together with a team of experienced business, finance, marketing and operations executives, Jonathan Middis, a food and beverage technology expert with over 20 years of experience at the cutting edge of food science R&D in multinational corporations and specialist industry groups, is leading the R&D effort and search for commercial applications.
